Hillhouse Angus Ranch

Hillhouse Angus Ranch is a family owned and operated seedstock business in Garnett, Kansas. Since our founding in 1961, we have developed registered Angus cattle to continuously improve on the beef industry. In our cowherd, we select for low input type of cattle with emphasis on maternal function and forage efficiency while optimizing the maximum amount of performance traits as possible. As a superior seedstock producer, our management system is very unforgiving like many top commercial cattle operations. In order to be successful for our customers, the cattle must function effectively and efficiently in their environment. Although our focus is mainly high maternal, forage efficient cattle, we do select for high carcass terminal type Angus bulls for our customers who are sending their calves to the feedlot.
