Hilo Bay Hale Bed and Breakfast

The Hilo Bay Hale provides guests from around the globe an authentic Hawaiian experience and a great place to base your Big Island adventure! With three unique guest rooms with private baths, a shared kitchen and dining area, wireless internet and laundry facilities, the Hale (house) offers everything you need for a perfect stay.

Built in 1914, this classic plantation style home was restored in 2008 and opened as a BNB in 2009. 2015 marks our 6th year in business!

A great breakfast is served each morning and features fresh local fruit, farm fresh eggs from our farm and specialties like french toast made with Punalu'u Bakery sweet bread.

The downtown location is central to all the major attractions in East Hawaii, and you can walk to all the wonderful things to experience in Hilo -- Hawaii's second largest city!

The home features private and shared lanai (porches) and the front and back lanai offer views of Hilo town. The historical architectural features remain enact -- including the original hardwood floors, kitchen cabinets, and more.
Furnished with antiques and collectibles, every room has a story and theme.
