HispanoFest

HispanoFest promotes the advancement to the Hispanic community through educational and leadership development. HispanoFest is an education based organization committed to supporting local higher education students by awarding outstanding students with scholarships.

HispanoFest is also a non-profit 503(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and also classified as a public charity under section 509(a)(1) and 170(b)(1)(A)(vi). It is organized by community members and volunteer who plan all year round to make the festival even bigger every year. The festival, which takes place the weekend after Labor Day weekend in Melrose Park Village grounds, is a family oriented three-day event with more than 250,000 participants.

Each year, we bring together Latin food booths, arts and crafts, live entertainment and musical performances from local and international talent.
Aside from the festival, HispanoFest holds a parade down Lake Street in Melrose Park Saturday at noon.
