Historic Boehne House

I fell in love with the house at 1119 Lincoln Avenue, Evansville, IN the moment I laid eyes on it. At the time, it was Rose Marie’s Gift Shop, and I couldn’t help but enjoy the fine wood work and spacious rooms. I never imagined that my husband and I would one day be lucky enough to call this historic landmark home or that we would be a part of the restoration project necessary to bring it back to its former glory. But, here we are…. ready to start this exciting journey of bringing back this old gal to her former glory. We know that there will be blood, sweat, and tears, but we are hoping that our efforts will give Evansville something to be proud of, something that will allow us to let the history of the John Boehne home become a part of many more people’s story… a place to wed, a place to celebrate, and a place to create… all in the heart of Evansville.
