Built between 1943-1944 during the Manhattan Project era, the historic Grove Theater holds many fond memories for long time Oak Ridgers. Condemned and left abandoned for years, the theater was purchased in 20014 by High Places Community Church and restoration efforts begun (and continue) for the space. The theater is currently home to many performances, benefit concerts, Arts groups, and education activities for the city. The mission of the Grove Theater is simply, to promote community. We do this by offering the space at no charge to our community with the hopes of inspiring a "pay it forward" mindset in all we do!
Thanks for stopping by!
