Hits The Spot Cafe

We opened here in July of 2014. We chose this location because of the wonderful and warming home town feel town of North Plains has to offer!

Glenn (aka Digger) and Sharil Davis are two people passionate about food. We approach it from a scientific direction. Digger was a journeyman baker for nine years and brings his knowledge of food interactions to the restaurant. Sharil has always wanted to own a restaurant since she was 5. Her family has been a family of great cooks. Sharil makes all of the jams used and sold in the restaurants. There are over 30 different varieties available.

Claim to Fame: At our other restaurant, The Log Cabin Inn, we created the Digger Bomb, where we take our own smoked pulled pork mix it with hash browns, onions, garlic and parmesan cheese. Once fully mixed we top it with cheddar cheese and eggs. Over 98% of the people who eat this amazing dish think that by drizzling our homemade bbq sauce over it We have also created the “Stuffie Burger”. We take a quarter pound of hamburger and mix in three strips of chopped cooked bacon. We then shape it like a small bowl and put cheese into the middle and patty the burger out. It is grilled and then topped with more cheese. There are four kinds, the BBQ Stuffie, Mushroom Swiss Stuffie, Bacon Blue Cheese Stuffie and the Bacon Jalapeno Stuffie.

We offer a variety of fund raisers to schools, churches and people in need. We have a food booth each year at the annual Elephant Garlic Festival held here in North Plains.

UPCOMING EVENTS!!!:
-Build a Burger Fundraiser for Officer Nic Cederberg who was wounded on Christmas Day. This event will be held on January 14, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.

-Valentine Day Dinner. We will be offering a special menu along with wine, beer and champagne.
