My name is Jim Ramsey. I am a U.S. Army veteran and interfaith minister who recently started a cleaning business. I am currently offering general housekeeping services (e.g. vacuuming, sweep/mop, dusting, organizing, cleaning kitchens/bathrooms, washing windows, mowing, weed eating, laundry, house sitting, running errands, etc.) in the Greater Chattanooga area for home and commercial clients. I will provide a quote for the individual job (see process below) and I require pre-payment for each job. I provide my own tools/supplies. And if you have a custom job you need completed that you think I may be able to do, just ask!

While I'm somewhat new to this as a business, I have many years of related experience. For example, one of my first jobs as a teenager was doing construction cleanup for Mr. Paul Walker, a local building contractor. Later, in the 1980's, I was part of the Fontaine Woods Apartments maintenance team where I cleaned apartments and served as their groundskeeper. I then worked for a commercial cleaning company (Phipps Cleaning Service) for about a year in 1990's.

In addition, I have done many such general labor jobs on a one-off basis for various friends and acquaintances over the years. Not to mention how much cleaning is involved in restaurant work or how the Army holds its enlisted soldiers to very high standards when it comes to the daily cleaning work required of its enlisted soldiers as part of their routine duties. Beyond that, I have a long track record that speaks for itself, as a highly dedicated and hard-working employee, in general, who is committed to giving my 100% to ANY work I take on.

I've done many types of work over the past 40 years. Everything from food service, retail sales and telephone customer services to my 10 year professional career as a mental health counselor (1996-2007), as well as my current wedding officiant and pastoral counseling ministry (see ChattanoogaWeddingOfficiants.com). In addition to the pride I take in providing excellent service for the client, I greatly enjoy physical labor (it keeps me in shape, so who needs a gym!), and is the perfect balance to my other work as a wedding officiant and pastoral counselor. I price my jobs "by the job" (not by the hour), so please call me or send me a detailed description of what you need done (with photos of the job), and let me know if you would be willing to have me visit you to provide a quote. If you are needing same day service, I will do my best to complete the job when I come out for the estimate, if you're ready to contract me at that point.
