Hoagland Farms

Hoagland Farms is a farmstead nestled in the valley of Bear Gap, near Elysburg, Pennsylvania. The family farm has been in operation for over 60 years, and we currently farm over 90 acres of land. We grow and farm our own produce, such as sweet and field corn, tomatoes, squash, melons, beans, and peppers, to name a few. We also have our own orchard with several varieties of peaches, apples, plums, cherries, and apricots. Each year, we have a large fall crop with many varieties of pumpkins and gourds for sale, with all proceeds to benefit the college funds of our 14 grandchildren.

We also raise pigs, and sell pork products such as fresh hams, bacon, sausage, chops, and scrapple. Products are sold as price per pound, or by custom order in quarter, half, or whole hog increments. For larger orders, please contact the farm in advance at (570) 672-9740.

Hoagland Farms also sells hay and straw by the bale or load, as well as grains like wheat, oats, and corn. We will soon expand our operation to include the raising of sheep for meat sale, as well as many more egg-laying chickens. Keep checking back for updates!

We accept Women Infant and Children (WIC) vouchers for fresh produce. All operations are currently up to date with all codes through the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture and the Northumberland County Department of Health.
