Hocutt Kidz

Here at Hocutt Baptist Church, we seek to reach the hearts of our children so they allow Jesus Christ to transform them into His image. Our vision for a successful children's and family ministry is a growing ministry where children and parents feel welcomed and safe, and develop a strong desire to be actively involved in the church body. Our goal is to have a ministry that balances fun with strong Biblical teaching that changes hearts to earnestly seek a personal relationship with Christ. We hope to build lasting relationships with all members of the family, and to encourage and inspire each person toward a life of service to Christ and His kingdom.

We have Sunday School, AWANA, Mission Friends, Royal Ambassadors (RA) and Girls in Action (GA) programs, as well as a great children's choir. Our RA and GA groups are always pushing each other in friendly competition to develop a closer personal relationship with Jesus by learning about Him in scripture and following Him in life. They challenge each other to learn Bible passages weekly. One child called them "Bible presents", and how true is that? God’s word IS a present to us. A little child shall lead them.

We like to go places and hang out with each other, too! You can find us at a Mudcats game, at the movies or having a tailgate. Sometimes we even give mom & dad a break with Parents' Night Out... adults get some time to themselves while the kids have TONS of fun here at church.

Kingdom Kidz and Kidzone Meet Each Sunday at 10:30 AM

Kingdom Kidz (ages 4 through preK) - 10:30am

We help kids understand how the Bible is one big story about God...how it all points to the gospel of Jesus. Each week stories come to life through video, music, activities, and more...laying a strong biblical foundation.

Children who were not in Sunday school should be signed in at our KidZone checkpoint. Please be sure we have a current Hocutt Kidz Information Sheet on file. Children will need to be signed out by a parent at the KidZone checkpoint.

KidZone (grades K-5) - 10:30am

The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered Bible study that follows a chronological timeline of Bible events, helping your child understand how the Bible is one big story about God that points to the gospel of Jesus. Each week kids learn a "big picture" question and answer, building a solid foundation. It's the Bible, like they've never seen it before!

Children who were not in Sunday school should be signed in at our KidZone checkpoint. Please be sure we have a current Hocutt Kidz Information Sheet on file. Children will need to be signed out by a parent at the KidZone checkpoint.

AWANA
Sundays @ 5:30 pm (September - May)
Children up through 5th grade learn to hide God's Word in their hearts.

Nursery is provided for infants.
