H.O.F.F. Produce’s mission is to lead by example and grow the finest quality locally grown organic produce in the local surrounding area.

H.O.F.F. Produce’s vision is to supply, inspire and be a local resource for consumers local organic produce needs.

H.O.F.F. Produce is overall focused on growing and delivering quality local organic produce to its consumers. H.O.F.F. Produce is based on low-tech, high-yield methods of production written about by Jean-Martin Fortier in his gardening handbook The Market Gardener. “The Market Gardener is a complete, modern, micro-scale farming handbook that is packed with practical information on:
• Setting up a micro-farm by designing biologically intensive cropping systems, all with small capital outlay.
• Farming without a tractor and minimizing fossil-fuel inputs through the use of the best hand tools, appropriate machinery and minimum tillage practices.
• Growing mixed vegetables systematically with attention to weed and pest management, crop yields, harvest periods and pricing approaches.”

It's a great book packed full of information. I recommend it to anyone interested in gardening/ farming.

H.O.F.F. Produce consists of one - 20’wide by 60’ long greenhouse and 6 field plots each measuring 112’ long by 65’ wide. There are sixteen 30” wide by 100’ long raised beds in each field plot. Each field plot is divided into families or groups of vegetables.

Founded by Darin Hoffman, a U.S. Navy Veteran. I grew up in Wabash, Indiana and worked as a part of my family’s 3rd generation landscaping business while growing up and for several years professionally after my military service. The skills and work ethic that I learned from landscaping and hardscaping are really the foundation of my farm. If you combine those foundational working skills along with proven growing methods, training and action, I believe I will achieve the perfect solution to generate good quality organic produce on a small scale intensive system for the local masses.
