Holy Family's Social Media Policy:

Holy Family Catholic School’s social media accounts are monitored by staff in an effort to inform the public about our activities and events. Our goal is to share information with as many individuals as possible and our policy is to accept the majority of comments made to our profiles. Holy Family Catholic School encourages you to share your thoughts and opinions as they relate to the photos, videos, links or comments posted.

While we respect an individual’s right to free speech and encourage open discussion, please ensure your comments are courteous and adhere to the following guidelines.

We reserve the discretion to block or remove comments that contain:

• obscene, offensive or profane language;

• threats, personal attacks or insulting statements directed toward an individual or organization;

• defamatory or libelous statements;

• speech deemed hateful directed towards a race, color, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, ethnicity, age, religion, or disability;

• promotion for or endorsement of commercial services or products or non-commercial services or products that are irrelevant to the topic or another comment;

• comments or information that was “spammed” or repeatedly posted within a short period of time.

We will do our best to maintain an honest and open forum and ask all users to respect each other. We understand that social media is a 24/7 medium, however, our monitoring capabilities are not. We may not see every question, post or inappropriate comment right away, and we are trusting in the maturity of our community to ignore personal attacks and negative speech or respond politely.
