Holy Spirit School is a Catholic elementary and middle school in San Jose, California. It is connected with Holy Spirit Church next door. It was established in 2000. It serves pre-kindergarten through 8th grade. It is located in the affluent neighborhood of Almaden Valley.TechnologyBecause of the Apple One-to-One Initiative, students in all grades have access to an assigned iPad. In grades 6-8, students may take their iPad home to complete their assignments. Class notes are available on-line, and students have the opportunity to create iMovie projects on defined topics.InformationHoly Spirit School is a Catholic school educating children from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade. Established in September 2000, it is accredited by WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges). The current enrollment is over 550 students. The school colors are red and blue. The mascot is the Coyote.The school day starts with a schoolwide assembly with prayer and announcements. There are monthly school Masses, prayer services, sacramental preparation, seasonal spiritual activities and retreat opportunities.
