Designed by native Iowan Bradford Benz, this 18-hole championship golf course is open for its seventh season of play. Exciting shot-making opportunities exist on every golf hole. Interesting targets at fairway landing areas and green sites guarded by artful bunkering invite good golf shots. The blending of bold landform sculpture with the existing topography including bentgrass fairways with existing prairie vegetation and mature native tree cover has produced a unique visual drama. With boldly contoured fairways and green complexes, each hole on the golf course presents a special challenge. The unusual variety of golf holes which have been carefully sited into the natural landscape appeals to golfers of all levels of skill and ability which distinguishes Honey Creek as one of the truly unique golf courses in the Midwest.
