Honor Our Fallen- A Run to Remember 10K

The Annual Honor our Fallen Run was established by a Monterey County Gold Star Mother in 2012 to honor the sacrifice of the sons of Monterey County who gave what Abraham Lincoln described as “the last full measure of devotion” while in service to our nation.

Today, the Presidio of Monterey, Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare & Recreation is continuing her legacy - we will never forget the brave men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice.

It is our privilege to dedicate proceeds from this event towards supportive programs and events for Gold Star Family members. For us, there is no greater duty than to support the Families of those military members who have lost their lives while in service to our country.

We are pleased to host this event at the Fort Ord Dunes State Park in Marina, CA. Both the 5K and 10K courses loop gently along the dunes of the Pacific with beautiful views of the Monterey Bay and the Monterey Peninsula.

Please join us in honoring the Sons, Daughters, Nieces, Nephews, Grandparents, Parents, and Friends who selflessly served our nation. Our run along the Monterey bay will surely be a Run to Remember!
