Hook’d Up Fishing Tournamnets are designed NOT to be your “traditional” fishing tournament, rather, put the pre-conceived thoughts away and ENJOY! Our rules are simple, put together to allow family, friends, and fishermen to have a great experience and approximately 150 chances to win money and prizes! Check this out... you can launch from any legal spot on Lake Okeechobee at anytime. Therefore, you can be sitting at your favorite fishing spot just like the go fast boats, or the family can enjoy breakfast together and start at your leisure. BUT you cannot make the first cast prior to start time. As long as your boat has an adequate live-well system, and can be in compliance with Florida Boating Laws, you are in! In continuing to make this accessible as possible, we will have 3 weigh-in sites located on the Lake, all 3 sites will have mathcing scales. this is an attempt to make fast, easy access for the bi-hourly weigh-in’s to take place. If you have no fish to weigh in but they are biting, stay out and enjoy. We allow all entrants to be on the Lake until 7pm, even though final weigh-in is at 3pm, it’s your time, enjoy it! However, please don’t miss the final weigh-in and announcements Sunday afternoon, as we are confident there will be giveaways and drawings that are not announced herein- especially for the kids that are entered! Until now this type of family dream has been out of reach, short of being tournament fishermen! This event will reward each entrant a chance at over 150 cash prizes, which in total approach $200,000! That’s TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS!
