Hop Woo BBQ & Seafood Restaurant

Established in 1993.

The first and current restaurant was opened for business in 1993, located in the center of Los Angeles Chinatown. Hop Woo opened with only 8 tables, and have since moved to our current location next door to accommodate more guests. Our business grows with the help of our sincere and loyal guests and friends.

This restaurant began with the Husband as Chef, Wife as Waitress, along with their 8 tables.

Both Lupe and Judy individually immigrated to the United States from China to chase the American dream. Along the way they made a pit stop in Tijuana, Mexico, where they picked up some Spanish before continuing their journey to California. Hop Woo defines their American dream, all the people, customers, and friends that come through the restaurant help keep their dream a reality.
