Hopewell Community Church

Family is the best way to describe Hopewell... We are truly a family in service to our Lord, Jesus Christ. One of the most beloved stories we like to share at Hopewell is one of a very old Bible that is now displayed in a glass case in front of the pulpit. Although the building was moved to it's current location to remedy flooding issues, in 1937 the flood waters were once again climbing the walls of the little red brick church. It reached the eves of the building, drenching everything in it's path...... everything but one old Bible, which floated to the ceiling on a small wooden pulpit. It gently floated back to floor as the water receded and not a single page was even damp. When describing Hopewell and what the goal of the clergy and members is, it's simple, God cared enough to save an old Bible in an old Church, how much more does He care for the people who love Him? His family!
