Houston Heights High School is a state-operated charter school located in Houston, Texas. It was established in 1999 by superintendent Richard Mik.HHHS, which serves grades 9 through 12, is located in the Houston Heights neighborhood in northwest Houston. The school serves 96% at-risk students.Houston Heights High School also partners with Houston Community College to give students the opportunity to gain college credit during their junior and/or senior years, including in the area of construction management.The school motto is: Leadership, Excellence, PerseveranceIn 2009, the school was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.AthleticsHouston Heights High School offers Men's Basketball, Men's Soccer, and Cheerleading.
