Houston Methodist Emergency Care Center at Kirby

Houston Methodist Emergency Care Center at Kirby brings to Houston's Upper Kirby neighborhood the same high-quality care for which Houston Methodist is known. The center is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year and treats patients of all ages who are ill or injured. Located conveniently on the south side of Highway 59 just west of Kirby, the center provides free parking and fast, quality service.

This cutting-edge emergency care center houses ten exam rooms, a full digital radiography suite, a low-radiation-dose 64-slice CT scan, an ultrasound and a full on-site stat chemistry lab. For family and friends waiting in the lobby, there are puzzles, coloring books, and story books for children, as well as computers, free Wi-Fi internet access and flat screen TVs. Each patient room also has a flat screen TV.

The emergency care center is staffed by board-certified emergency medicine physicians specializing in emergency care from pediatric to geriatric patients, working alongside specially trained nursing and ancillary staff with extensive experience in emergency care.

For conditions requiring hospital admissions or further evaluation, we will facilitate transfers to Houston Methodist Hospital or another facility with the appropriate level of care.
