Howard's Flea Market

Howard's Flea Market has been around since 1972.We are the largest Flea Market in Citrus County Florida. Howard's Flea Market covers 55 acres and has 800 booths under cover and almost unlimited outdoor spaces for vendors.

Since 1996 The Citrus Chronicle has awarded Howard's Flea Market with the Best of the Best award. This award is given to companies that are voted to be the best in their fields by the readers of the Citrus Chronicle. Spanning sixteen years Howard's Flea Market has not missed a single year of this award. This is because we always strive to be the best. Providing a family orientated atmosphere with down home customer service.

Our staff is top notch and is there to help and serve vendors and patrons alike. Teri Davis (Flea Market Manager) has been working for the market since 1991 and was a vendor at Howard's for several years before that. Teri's years of experience in the Flea Market business has fine tuned her abilities to provide top notch service to the needs of our vendors and patrons. Cindy our other office staff member has been with us for seven years and provides friendly and diligent service. We have a maintenance staff headed by Quillen Howard that is skilled and very creative.

Howard's Flea Market was started by the Howard family with just a few spaces on U.S. 19 back in the early 70's and grew too what it is today. In 1994 Thomas Cushman Purchased the Flea Market and has operated it since.

We have a strong commitment to the community, each year we provide dozens of spaces to community based organizations and charity's for their fund raisers. Each Easter we host a sunrise service and an Easter egg hunt for our vendors and the children of Citrus County and surrounding areas. The Easter Egg Hunt has been a fun and exciting tradition for the children. We have seen many of the children that participated in the past return grown up and bring their children to take part in the hunt.
