Howell Nature Center Day Camp

We put the CAMP in Day Camp!!
The Howell Conference & Nature Center operates Summer Day Camp for K-8th graders in summer and for K-5th graders during winter and spring breaks from school. No matter the season, each week is filled with fun, fun, and more fun, with themed weeks such as Wet and Wacky Week, High Adventure Week, Out of this World Week, and more!

Children spend summer days learning and playing in our unique camp setting. Our activities have an emphasis on fun, recreation, environmental education, and traditional camp activities – archery, canoeing, swimming, fishing, crafts, scavenger hunts, zip line rides, and more. Field trips to off-site locations, such as water parks and area zoos, are held weekly.

Camper attendance requirements are flexible – you can sign up for one day, five days, one week or every week. Before and after care is also available.

Howell Conference & Nature Center is accredited by the American Camp Association and licensed by the State of Michigan. Our health officers and lifeguards are Red Cross certified. In addition, we practice a Challenge by Choice philosophy for all activities.
