Hoytville is a village in Wood County, Ohio, United States. The population was 303 at the 2010 census.HistoryHoytville was platted in 1873 when the railroad was extended to that point. The village was named after William Hoyt, an original proprietor of the town site. A former variant name was Hoyts Corners. A post office called Hoyts Corners was established in 1872, and the name was changed to Hoytville in 1874.
