Humane Society of Southwest Missouri

We are a NO-KILL, open admission animal shelter located in Springfield Missouri.

The shelter has many wonderful dogs and cats available for adoption. Adoption hours are Monday - Friday from 12pm to 6pm and Sundays from 12pm til 5pm. Adoptable pets can be viewed in person at the shelter located at 3161 W. Norton Rd in Springfield, or online at www.swh.org.

In an effort to end the pet overpopulation problem in Southwest Missouri, the Humane Society also offers spay and neuter services to the community and low-cost spay and neuter services to those who could not otherwise afford the surgery. Animals may be surrendered to the Humane Society by appointment. Appointments are available during business hours Monday- Friday. Please call 417-833-2526 ext. 216 for more information on surrendering your pet.
