Hy Weinberg Center for Communication Disorders

The Hy Weinberg Center for Communication Disorders provides speech, language, and audiological services to all ages, from infancy through geriatrics. The comprehensive facility offers testing, evaluation, and individual and group therapy. Signature group programs include TOTalk (a grown-up and me-style playgroup for late-talking toddlers), KIDTalk (a me-alone group for preschoolers), a social communication group for children and teens with high-functioning autism/Asperger's syndrome, and social-communication groups for adults with aphasia. The Center has a fully equipped van that allows for speech and hearing screenings at convenient locations throughout the Long Island community.

The Center is an approved provider for the Nassau County Early Intervention and Preschool Special Education (CPSE) Programs on Long Island. Professional staff of the Center are participating providers for the NYS Empire Plan (speech and audiological services) and for Medicare (audiological services).

The Center provides treatment services for a wide range of communication difficulties including:
