IEC Texas Gulf Coast

Formed in 1927, the IEC Texas Gulf Coast is a dynamic organization of electrical professionals whose mission is to promote the success of all electrical contractors preferring to remain independent or open shop. Representing 200 electrical contractors and over 2000 journeyman electricians, associates and engineers, the IEC has become the quality symbol for the electrical industry in the Houston area. The IEC has been instrumental in interacting with local, state and national officials on legislation that has improved the industry while at the same time making the workplace environment safer. The Board of Directors and the Executive Director strive to keep members apprised of the ever-changing electrical market.
