OUR BELIEFS
- We believe in the Triune God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- We believe that the Bible is the divinely inspired word of God.
- We believe that all have sinned, that sin separates us from God, and
that sin is the cause of discontentment and unrest in our lives.
- We believe that Jesus Christ suffered and died for our sins so that we
might have life both now and forever.
- We believe that through the Means of Grace (Bible, Baptism, Lord's
Supper) God grants forgiveness, creates and sustains faith.
- We believe that Jesus' body and blood are truly and really present in
the Lord's Supper for our forgiveness.
- We believe that Baptism is the act of God by which He washes away
sin and guilt, sends His Holy Spirit, and creates faith in the heart
- We believe that in a Christ-centered life we receive peace and
contentment.
- We believe that the Christian demonstrates faithful and thankful
living by worshipping and studying God's Word with others.
- We believe that every Christian has been given spiritual gifts by
God's grace to be used for the strengthening of the Body of Christ,
the Church.
- We believe that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

As Lutherans part of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, we accept and teach the Bible-based teachings of Martin Luther that inspired the reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century. The teaching of Luther and the reformers can be summarized in three short phrases: Grace alone, Faith alone, Scripture alone.

Grace alone
God loves the people of the world, even though they are sinful, rebel against Him and do not deserve His love. He sent Jesus, His Son, to love the unlovable and save the ungodly.

Faith alone
By His suffering and death as the substitute for all people of all time, Jesus purchased and won forgiveness and eternal life for them. Those who hear this Good News and believe it have the eternal life that it offers. God creates faith in Christ and gives people forgiveness through Him.

Scripture alone
The Bible is God's inerrant and infallible Word, in which He reveals His Law and His Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ. It is the sole rule and norm for Christian doctrine.
