I am the VP of marketing for Pregnancy & Newborn magazine, but I also consult for the skincare company Rodan + Fields, the #1 premium skincare brand in the USA.

Rodan + Fields' products used to be sold in retail stores, but a few years ago the two dermatologists who created the products, Dr. Kathy Fields and Dr. Katie Rodan, decided that they wanted to empower other women to run their own businesses, and leverage the growing social media channels.

Instead of spending money on marketing gimmicks, shelf space and advertising the brand now has a network of consultants across the US and Canada (and soon Australia as we expand). The company profits are paid to consultants as commission on sales, and their team’s sales.

Even though I have a very rewarding position with P&N magazine, I am having the time of my life working with this amazing network of women, and coaching others to be successful and gain financial independence. Anyone can achieve success running their own business, with the support of these incredible teams.
