Independence Harbor was established in 1976 in the charming country village of Assonet, Massachusetts, located just off Route 24, conveniently only 45 minutes south of Boston and 25 minutes east of Providence, R.I..
Designed especially for private wedding receptions and garden wedding ceremonies, the entire Independence Harbor 20 acre estate is reserved for one special event at a time. A magnificent landscape of manicured lawns, stately stonewalls, and endless flower gardens surrounds a captivating dining and reception center accommodating groups of 100 to 250 persons.
