Indian Dance School by Gauri Jog

Dance is my passion. I stared learning dance at the age of seven. I obtained my initial training in Indian Classical Dance Kathak from my Guru Shri Madan Pande of Nagpur. Later I learned more advanced techniques and choreography from Guru Lalita Hardas and late Smt. Madhurita Sarang. I also attended short sessions with Pandit Birju Maharaj. My gifted grace, good educational background and interest in teaching had helped me in becoming a successful dance performer, choreographer and director of a dance school in Chicago area.

About Indian Dance School
I started my own dance school in 1999 to impart structured training in classical dance and choreography. Indian Dance School is a public charity organization and currently we have over 90 students. Our professional dance group has staged more than 100 shows in north America so far. Our most successful dance ballet include Shakuntala, Queen of Jhansi, East Meets West, Fire - the fiery Tale among others.
