Indigenous Wisdom in Nursing Program I-WIN

I-WIN is a grant-funded program of the North Dakota State University Department of Nursing that is designed to support the recruitment and retention of American Indian people into careers in nursing. The I-WIN Program offers access to:

•Scholarships based on need to cover tuition, fees, books and other related educational expenses

•Stipends based on need to assist in covering general living expenses for rent, daycare, groceries, utilities and transportation

•Mentorship for nursing and pre-nursing students; career coaching

•Academic support,including advisement and tutoring

•A supportive environment that honors cultural identity as a valued element of learning, healthcare and university resources.
