INDULGE Pure Originals™ is a new line of high quality,
highly-effective moisturizing creams and hand and
body lotions that are available in eight fragrance families.
In addition, there is a full selection of handmade artisan
moisturizing soaps and scrubs, and body butter bars that
literally melt moisture into the skin.
The launch also includes a new website with shopping cart – www.IndulgePureOriginals.com – that fully describes each product along with the INDULGE commitment to using only the purest, natural, sustainable ingredients.
All products (except for a few soaps and scrubs) are vegan, were never tested on animals, and are American made.
INDULGE Pure Originals™ is the result of a two-year search by company founder Kimberly Acworth, who has over 30 years experience in the beauty business as a multiple salon owner and consultant. “My dry, itchy skin used to literally drive me crazy. Nothing was out there that solved my own problem. So I called a formulator I know to help me create something totally new using pure, simple and safe ingredients that naturally hydrate, nourish and protect the skin. . .like shea butter, cocoa butter and almond oil. It was a long process that slowly evolved into a complete, reasonably- priced line I am happy with, because I know it works and produces the results I want with no harsh chemicals.” Acworth started with a Cocoa Butter Body Butter “Bar” – unique in that it is held in your hand and gently rubbed on warm moist skin after a shower or bath. In seconds you can feel the bar
melt, leaving a glistening layer of ingredients that quickly absorbed into the skin. This led to the development of a Cocoa Butter Cream – rich and luxurious for extremely dry, flaky skin – as well as lighter formulations of the same ingredients for Moisturizing Creams and Body Lotions. She also took a different approach in creating “fragrance families” that could be used alone or in combination
so you can create your own unique scent. You can, for example, use Citrus Body Butter Bar with Egyptian Musk with Citrus Moisturizing Cream with no worries that one will overwhelm the other. “Fragrances are very important to me because
they trigger happy memories and feelings,” Acworth explains. “Our Love fragrance reminds me of a big warm hug from someone special, while Vanilla & Lavender takes you to an oasis of tranquility.” Other fragrances include Coconut, Blossom, Clean, Almond Milk & Honey, and Unscented.
As new products were introduced INDULGE Salon clients in Pennsylvania and Georgia served as a test market to learn what topped the list in terms of customer interest and satisfaction, and led to the final selection of products featured on the website.
