The Inglewood Certified Farmers' Market is Inglewood’s first farmers' market bringing fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables to the South LA area to solve the lack of access to health food issue in the area. Located on Market Street in Downtown Inglewood, the market features 35+ booths selling produce, prepared dishes, pre-packaged foods and locally made products. Each market will include healthy cooking demonstrations, fitness classes, raffles, CalFresh/WIC and live entertainment.
Hosted by the Social Justice Learning Institute (SJLI) and the City of Inglewood, the long-awaited market launched on September 17, 2015 and ntakes place every first and third Thursday of the month on Market Street (in between Manchester Blvd and Nutwood St) from 3-7pm.
