For those of you that might want to know about the name and what we are trying to bring to the community:
Inspirit- to instill courage or life into; enliven.
"But you, be strong and do not lose courage, for there is reward for your work."
~2 Chronicles 15:7
Our purpose is to fulfill a humans hierarchy of needs through CrossFit:
- Proper Nutrition: "eat to perform", better results through proper nutrition.
- Safety needs: each member will participate in 4 introduction classes. These classes are designed to help a person new to CrossFit understand the movements and proper form so we can prevent injury.
- Belongingness: become a part of the CrossFit community by attending classes on a regular basis, talking part in social events with other members, and participating in races (fitness events) with the group.
- Esteem needs: setting individual goals and achieving them. Each member will receive a "Success Journal" to keep track of progress. We promote healthy competition between members to help push each other.
- Self-Actualization: helping all members live up to their fullest and unique potential.
- Self-Transcendence: the need to find meaning beyond yourself. We encourage members to begin to assist others and also to help support causes to better their community.
