Indiana State University's Institute for Community Sustainability (ICS) is a regional and national leader in the study of and pursuit of sustainability. Empowering a “community sustainability” movement to usher in the sustainable industrial age, the ICS, in partnership with academics, private industry, non-profits, and government, is making the Wabash Valley a living laboratory to discover and educate new sustainable practices. Students are actively engaged and empowered to make change in the local community through their academic courses.
