Inter-County Volunteer Fire Department, Inc.

The Inter-County Fire Department is situated on the county line of Perquimans and Pasquotank County. We are a 100% volunteer fire and first responder department, Currently our membership ranges from 25-30 members representing residents from both counties. We are a member of the Albemarle Firemen's Association Inc. as well as Eastern Firemen's Association.

Our department provides twenty-four hour service throughout the year to our more than 5,000 residents and businesses within our fire district. Our firefighters are provided with the best opportunities for training in both fire and emergency care services.
