Inter-Tribal Council of Nevada, Inc. Child Care Development Fund Program

Inter-Tribal Council of Nevada, Inc. Child Care Development Fund is a child care subsidy program that provides services to eligible families in 17 tribal communities within the state of Nevada, including the urban areas of Reno, Sparks, Carson City and Las Vegas.

Eligible families who live in the urban areas participate in a Certificate Program; allowing them to choose the type of provider that is best for their child. CCDF reimburses the child care provider for a percentage of the family’s child care costs. All reimbursements are based on the families’ average monthly net income and family size.

There are 17 tribally operated Child Care Centers, Afterschool Programs and Certificate Programs throughout the state. The following is a list of tribal communities CCDF serves, and the programs each tribe operates:

Lovelock Paiute Tribe – Child Care Center
Moapa Business Council – Child Care Center
Stewart Community Council – After School and Certificate Program
Walker River Paiute Tribe – Child Care Center
Wells Band Council – Certificate Program
Winnemucca Colony Council – Certificate Program
Yerington Paiute Tribe – After School and Certificate Program
Yomba Tribal Council – Certificate Program
