Iowa City Masonic Building

Located in the heart of downtown Iowa City at 312 College Street, the Iowa City Masonic Lodge is an historic Beaux-Arts building raised in 1913. The four-level 18,000 square foot building currently provides meeting space for various local Masonic groups, as well as commercial rental space for long-term tenants, and short-term rental space for one-time events or regularly recurring meetings.

Elegant Surroundings for Special Events

For short term rental use, we are now proud to promote to the general public our newly-renovated social hall. Our auditorium space may also be rented.

The Iowa City Masonic Building is handicapped accessible and includes elevator access to all floors. Parking is conveniently located streetside, and several city ramps are within a short walking distance. A small parking lot behind the building may be available on weekends during your event’s use, depending on availability. Please discuss during your rental process, so that, if possible, arrangements can be made.
