IRCO International Language Bank

The International Language Bank (ILB) provides multi-lingual services for government and social organizations, legal, medical, dental and similar professional firms, small businesses, non-profi ts and community groups. With over 25 years of experience and a highly-trained staff experienced in project management, ILB offers superior translation and interpretation services, enhanced by strong cultural knowledge and a natural connection to various language communities.

IRCO ILB is a member of The American Translators Association (ATA) and The International Medical Interpreters Association (IMIA).



As a part of a non-profit organization, ILB works entirely to support the mission of its parent organization, IRCO. ILB does not rely on public or private funding and is totally self-sustaining. The revenue generated by ILB through its language services is redistributed to IRCO to support funding for its ongoing programs for immigrant, refugee, and mainstream communities throughout the Portland metropolitan area.
These efforts form the core mission of IRCO by strengthening our diverse communities, eliminating barriers to opportunity, and helping those in need reach their full potential.
