More about Iron Mountain Challenge

The 23nd annual Iron Mountain Challenge (previously the Woodland-Calhoun Century Challenge) is a variable-length, non-competitive Gran Fondo along Northeast Alabama’s historic Ladiga Trail with challenging climbs through Talladega National Forest and Long Leaf National Wildlife Refuge.

Ride length ranges from 25 to 100 miles depending on rider preference, with fruit, drinks and water along the path to make the experience fun for adults, kids and riders of any skill level, for riders from Calhoun County and beyond.

The ride starts June 25, 2016 at 7:30 a.m. at the Anniston Aquatics & Fitness Center, 130 Summerall Gate Road. Registration is available online or day-of at 6:30 a.m. on June 25 at the race site.
