CROSSFIT: CrossFit is constantly varied, high intensity, functional movement. CrossFitters are extremely diverse in their experience, conditioning, and lives. CrossFitters include LEO, firefighters, students, business executives, stay-at-home moms, athletes, writers, producers, and martial artists.

CrossFit’s specialty is not specializing in any one fitness style.

We require you to think, use your brain as well as your muscles, learn, challenge yourself, try new things you never thought you could, and practice new skills that require you to be focused and present. You will learn how to move your body with proper mechanics, stability, balance, and agility. You will feel the results in your everyday life.

Classes are designed for scalability and apply equally well to all individuals no matter their age or fitness level – as long as they are willing to put forth the effort. By varying the load and intensity, we start you at a level appropriate to your fitness level and experience. This means everyone does the “same” workout varied only by their ability to perform it.

CrossFit is not easy; the workouts are vigorous, but simply put, IT WORKS. You will feel better than you have ever felt, you will feel younger, more fit, and have more energy with less aches and pains. You will accomplish physical feats you never thought possible and you will be stronger than you have ever been.

The beauty of our sport is that we are all in it together, motivating one another. It’s a sport where the person last to finish the workout receives more high fives than the person first to finish. Are you ready to change your life?

It is our mission to help people improve their lives through fitness. We recognize that every person has their own set of goals and their own unique perspective of what fitness means to them. Some members might want to shed a few extra pounds, gain strength and some members simply want to get healthier. Iron Roots CrossFit offers CrossFit & Boot Camp classes that are affordable and accessible to people of all abilities and fitness levels because we believe that everyone can achieve their goals when provided the right tools.

MOTIVATION
A little encouragement from the instructor or fellow classmates can help you keep up your level of workout intensity. A good group fitness class should provide a very positive atmosphere.

COMPETITION
Healthy competition inspires us to push harder. Challenging a workout buddy can help you both do more than you would have done on your own.

COMMUNITY
Enduring a challenging workout together is a great way to develop new friendships.

ACCOUNTABILITY
When you’re part of an exercise group, others will know when you miss a workout. You’ll be less likely to skip a group strength training class when others are counting on you.

STRUCTURE
An instructor led workout is more likely to be a well planned, complete workout. On your own you might be tempted to skip exercises you don’t like or aren’t sure how to perform correctly.

FUN!
Last but not least! It cannot be stressed enough that your workouts must be enjoyable if you expect to continue a healthy workout routine.
