Itani Ramen

Itani Ramen is the second restaurant from Hopscotch Chef/Owner Kyle Itani and his first restaurant that offers his interpretation of Japanese cuisine with a menu focused on ramen to Uptown Oakland. The restaurant emphasizes ramen, gyoza, and donburi bowls and takes inspiration from different prefectures in Japan. A well-curated sake, shochu, and beer program, along with frozen Japanese vending treats, round out the experience. Located at 1736 Telegraph Avenue, across the street from the Fox Theater, Itani Ramen offers a unique hybrid of counter and table service. Itani Ramen is open daily for lunch, dinner, and late-night service Sunday through Thursday 11:30 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 a.m.
