As an electrical supplier during the early 1900's, Mr. Lanham started selling small and large appliances, ceiling fans, attic fans, gas and electric ranges, gas and electric powered Maytag wringer washers. As the appliance line grew the business expanded by adding two adjacent buildings allowing for a total of 15,000 square feet of showroom space.

J D Lanham Supply is located where it started and is the oldest retail business in the city. We are located in the old historical downtown area at 215 West Market Street.
