Jack Donkey Farm, LLC

Why is our farm named Jack Donkey Farm? Do we actually have a donkey? We do, he's just happens to be human :) When Scott and I started dating, I was boarding my horse at a barn with a large 4-H group and lots of kids running around. Not one to hold back my feelings, my pet name for Scott became Jack Donkey, or a another 3-letter word for bum if kids weren't around! Scott's daughter got a kick out of the name and loved to point out that she was a baby donkey and her daddy was the big, daddy donkey, whenever we rode by a local farm (with actual donkeys). This was accompanied by the cutest, little girl giggle. Years later we spent hours tossing farm names back and forth and none just felt like us. Scott came up with Jack Donkey Farm as a way to include a family story into our farm. Scott's "pet" name just seemed to fit. And Jack Donkey Farm, LLC was born.
