Location:
Highway 128 to Arkansas Highway 84
Registration & sign-in begins at Prairie Bayou Church, 19480 Hwy 84, Malvern, AR located 400 yards from the start/finish.
The start/finish line and entertainment stage is located at the Highway 128 and Hwy 84 Junction.

Time:
Last-minute registration, sign-up and packet pick-up begins at 7 a.m.
Race begins at 9:00 a.m. for solo runners, walkers & relay teams.
Please ensure you arrive early.

Purpose:
An ideal prep race option for the Little Rock Marathon. The Jack-n-Back Half Marathon will challenge the most seasoned runners, relay teams and walkers with a 13.1 mile road race trek over Jack Mountain and back. Over 3,000 feet of elevation on a winding road through the scenic Ross Foundation.

Prizes/Awards:
All half marathon finishers will receive a unique “Jack-n-Back Official Finisher” medal. In addition, awards are given to the Top 3 Finishers in all categories:
Half Marathon Racers: Ages 20 & Under, 21-34, 35-49, 50+
Half Marathon Race Walkers: Ages 20 & Under, 21-34, 35-49, 50+
Half Marathon Relay Teams: 2 Member Team & 4 Member Team
Special award trophies will be given to the Top Overall Male, Top Overall Female, Top Master Male (40+), and Top Master Female (40+).

Proceeds:
A portion of the proceeds will go to two Hot Springs based charities: The Cooper-Anthony Mercy Child Advocacy Center, Arkansas’ first hospital-based facility for child abuse and neglect and Higher Peaks provides family building adventures for veteran families with emphasis on families of wounded veterans throughout the United States. Our goal is to provide an educational outdoor experience through adventure.
