JACK's Guide Service

JACK’s Guide Service is operated by Jerry & Cindy Kirby; we are a husband and wife team operating a family oriented business. We believe in providing exciting fishing adventures for the young and young-at-heart.

As a team, JACK’s Guide Service has extensive experience in catching Blue Catfish on Lake Gaston and Kerr Lake on the Virginia North Carolina border. We have a well equipped 20 ft Pontoon boat that maintains compliance with Coast Guard safe boating regulations to accommodate a safe and comfortable fishing trip.

Our boat record for Blue Cat is 120 lbs which was caught right after landing a 65 lb Blue Cat! We believe in CPR (catch-photograph-release) for the big cats but are happy to clean the small fish for you to enjoy.
