More about Jackson Center Swimming Pool

The Jackson Center Swimming Pool is a Public Swimming Pool that is operated by the Village of Jackson Center.

The Pool was built in 1968 and provides a pleasant and safe environment for the whole family. The pool is 5,316 square feet and was renovated in 1997 with the bathhouse being renovated in 2001. The spray park was added in 2005. Attractions include: a diving board, a shallow area for younger swimmers to touch the bottom and a spray park with three slides and attached water features.

The spray ground is not supervised by a lifeguard. The supervision and safeguarding of children using the spray ground is the responsibility of the parents of the children using the spray ground.

We have several vending machines on site that carry snacks and beverages. You are welcome to bring your own snacks, just no glass or alcoholic beverages please. We also ask that you use the trash cans that are placed around the pool to keep the trash and debris out of the pool that can clog up filters and pool mechanisms.

There are two large umbrellas that are first come first serve that provide an ample amount of shade. You are welcome to bring your own lawn chairs, blankets and large towels to sit on. We also have picnic tables spread out on the grounds that are on a first come first serve basis as well.

You are welcome to bring swim toys for your children to use in the water, but we ask that you do not bring floating rafts to lay on in the water as they take up too much room and bump into other swimmers. It also obscures the view that the lifeguards have of the swimmers in the pool.

The swimming pool is cleared every hour for a period of ten to fifteen minutes. During this break, one lifeguard will be on duty for adult swim only. This is a great time for your children to take a break for swimming at get hydrated and have a snack.

You are also welcome to bring swimmer toddler floaties and life jackets for your children. We ask that you not depend on them for your child's safety. You will still need to accompany your non-swimmers while they are in the pool.
