SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY
JTA’ s use of Facebook and other social media outlets is to promote communication between the agency, customers and the general public concerning transportation issues only.
JTA staff monitor all posts with the goal of responding to questions and comments (as applicable) within 48 hours.
Content posted by the public will not be edited; however, any posts that include any of the following will be deleted:
1. Profane language or content;
2. Content that promotes, fosters, or perpetuates discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, national origin, physical or mental disability or sexual orientation;
3. Sexual content or links to sexual content;
4. Solicitations of commerce;
5. Conduct or encouragement of illegal activity; or
Information that may tend to compromise the safety or security of the public or public systems.
