HI everyone welcome to my page (my baby). I have been thinking about this for more than two years. How was I going to do
this. My son was bullied in 2nd grade and the school did nothing until he retaliated, But then he was suspended, That didn't seem right to me. we changed schools and Thank God hes doing great. I have been wanting to start this for some time now, But you know how life gets in the way. Its not today. I have come up with programs depending on age and grade. I still have some details to work out. We are also passionate to Cancer awareness to continue the fight, Also as well as The GSA, Our Gay community. one of my boys is gay and he is loved supported by his family. There are a lot who are not. Being gay is simply a sexual preference not an identity. I want help parents to recognize the red flags about what is going on in their childs life. I'm no expert I'm just a mom of 5 kids some of my Board members are. I believe in educating our kids of the future that its ok to be who you are. DARE TO BE DIFFERENT, without the bullying. Children are not born a bully, its learned, taught and as parents we have to hold ourselves accountable for their actions. I will be holding my first fundraiser at Bru's Room in Pembroke Pines, March 19 at 8pm. A percentage will go to the foundation. I will be having a lot of fundraisers from Broward to Dade County to raise money for Anti-Bully / Cancer Awareness. They both fall in the month of October, I will be holding a black tie gala and presenting checks to schools as well as hospitals and the GSA. I Hope to see my community and all different communities at the fundraisers its going to be a lot of fun. I will be posting where when and at what time there is a fundraiser going on. You will be able to print out a flyer you must bring it with you to the fundraiser so the Organization will receive a percentage of all proceeds. I hope you all have the same passion I have in my heart to make a difference in some ones life. I lost my mom last year to cancer she was only 69. I lost my Aunt to cancer she was young as well.
