Jalama Cañon Ranch and Vineyard

Jalama Cañon Ranch was purchased by two families who have called Santa Barbara County their home for over 50 years. Originally part of a mid 1800's land grant from the United States government to Jose Antonio De La Guerra -one of the first settlers of the area- this 1,000 acre property has a brief history of owners since De La Guerra. The ranch is situated in a landmark view location and carries distinctive sentiments of California's history and heritage from the turn of the century.

Nestled in the hills of Jalama Cañon Ranch in Santa Barbara County, JCR Vineyard boasts 5.5 acres of high quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Our vineyard thrives in diverse temperatures, cool summer winds and coastal fog. The long growing season, steep hillsides, distinctive soils and low-yielding vines produce the character exclusive to our location. Our estate wines are produced by the same hands that nurture and harvest the vineyard.
