This historic home was built in 1879 after the esteemed George Jameson, prominent lawyer and real estate dealer, developed the land that would soon become home to the many Lima City homes we love and admire to this day. Mr. Jameson had a vision for the future of Lima. His real estate plans were both artful and intentional as the local population grew and business boomed. It was not long before these magnificent properties - particularly those lining Market Street - rose to local fame as the center of Lima's social scene. 137 years later, we invite you to visit Jameson Manor to soak in the history and charm of this elegant yet approachable home.

Our goals are simple. By reimagining this space into a private event venue, we hope that it changes perceptions about the safety and quality of homes in the city, and promotes the preservation and repurposing of Lima's historic properties.
